Tension: 28 stitches x 36 rows = 4 inches square using 3.25mm needles and stocking stitch.
Motif size: 37 stitches x 43 rows (5¼ inches wide x 4¾ inches high)

Textured V neck sweater, hat & fingerless mittens:
Measurements: sweater: 23 – 25 inch chest; mitts: 5.5 inches round the hand; hat to fit 5-6 years
Required: 300g 4 ply yarn (sock yarn) for long sleeved sweater, hat & mitts
Needles: Metric 3mm; 3.25mm & 3.75mm
Tension: 26 stitches & 34 rows equals 4 inches square using 3.75mm needles over stocking stitch.

Leftover sock yarn sweater:
Sizes: 22-24-26 inch chest
Required: 125g-150g-200g of 4 ply sock yarn; 2 buttons
Needles: Metric 2.75mm & 3.25mm
Tension: 28 stitches x 36 rows = 4 inches, using 3.25mm needles and stocking stitch
