The end of summer was near and Barina was looking forward to the first day of school. Soon she would see her friends Ronan, Sherlock and Holmes, and of course Ava and her brothers! She missed her friends over the summer. She also wondered what magical things they had done over the vacation!

She remembered that last year Ava and her brothers had spent the summer at the beach. There they had visited the lost city of Atlantis under the sea. Their underwater sea guide had been Jack the pirate Jellyfish. Oh, how Barina wished she could have been there!

She sat in her swing on the Big Oak Tree and wondered what adventures this year would bring! As she happily swung on her swing, she saw a huge spark shoot across the sky. Was that a rocket ship? I think it may have been! Barina ran to see what it was.

Just past the Mushroom Mound lay a rocket ship! The door was opening. Out of the rocket stepped a silvery robot. Barina went in closer to try to get a better look at him. He was looking around, lost. I suppose I would be too if I had just landed a rocket ship on another planet! She decided to approach the robot.

“Hello. My name is Barina. Who are you?” she asked.

“My name is Haley. Is this Earth?” he asked.

What magical adventures are in store for Barina? Come along with Barina as she goes on another adventure, this time with new friends born of a child’s imagination!
