Multi volume loose-leaf binders of individual card patterns. Available in 1990-1991. An unknown quantity of patterns published in total and Pingouin/Elle/Frolic were the yarns suggested.

Outside of binder:
Bright red cover with three skeins of yarn printed in yellow/gold in the middle.

The abbreviation & color key code were available as one page for guiding the user.

Publications could be dated 1990 on the back of each pattern card. Cards are punched with two holes.

Size of cards: 210 mm x 148 mm (about A5 sized).
Card has a 1 mm band across the top in a particular colour, the section is printed at the top left, the name of the pattern top right.
Coloured skein(s) of yarn is/are on the right. The number of skeins indicate the difficulty:
- one skein to three skeins for difficulty rating.
The colour on the yarn skein is reproduced on the line separating the picture and text.

Some patterns have the following references:
K(with 6 numbers) e.g. K900425 (which may refer to 1990. April 25th),
Model (three numbers.two numbers) e.g. 579.89 (which may refer to a Pingouin pattern number 579 of 1989) & vice versa (two numbers. three numbers),
Model E(3 numbers) e.g. E004 (which may refer to a pattern number 004 with E=Elle.
