Inspired by some of my Instagram buddies I did some spinning for socks.
Opposing ply method (two Z singles and one S single, plied S) as mentioned in the Spinner’s Book of Yarn Designs.
I messed up the plying twist, had to run it back through, my S single was much too short, a frustrating experience all around. I think the resulting yarn is knittable - if very rustic - but whether I have enough for socks is another matter. Eh.
I also have 22g, 97m/106yd of 2 ply lace weight from the leftover singles.
