Gifted to me several years ago by a co-worker who had started spinning and dyeing; just realized it had never been added to my Rav stash when I first joined because at the time there wasn’t any provision for properly recording handspun not spun by oneself.

Yardage is a guesstimate based on unwinding roughly 20 metres from the ball and having it weigh in at 2 grams (so 1 gram = 10 metres). No knots or breaks. :-)

Has to be wool; no other fibre has this same velcro-like love of clinging to itself. Not merino, something a little coarser though not the least bit scratchy. A loose 2-ply with the individual plies appearing to have been fairly tightly spun. Has a slightly nubbly look/feel that’s reminiscent of a miniature bouclé or the feel of tussah silk fabric.
