Approximately 97.5 grams to start, used about 13.8 grams on set up rows and first two repeats (=69 rows with cast-on). Should be able to do 7 repeats on each side plus edge, but just barely.

March 1st It’s most likely that I’ll finish this on Saturday. The pattern is so well written and easy to follow… just not sure I’m loving this yarn colorway. I should just stay away from variegated yarns… they look great on the hank but when I knit them they look like poop. I’m hoping it looks better after being blocked.

March 2nd Decided to do the edging after six repeats, because I wasn’t all together sure I’d be able to eke out enough for the full seven. I’m pretty sure this will be long enough.

March 4th There’s something about blocking lace… what really didn’t excite me an hour earlier, looks beautiful on the blocking boards! It’s blocking to about 84 inches long, which is more than long enough. Pictures to come as soon as it’s dry.
