Notes

Started this for travel knitting and knit a lot on the way across Louisiana into Vicksburg, MS and during our two day stay there. It makes good car travel knitting, nevertheless I’ve made mistakes. :-) I added the CC in stockinette sections in the beginning on purpose since I am lower on the MC solid yarn. But--I misread the pattern and made two eyelet rows instead of one on the first few sections. Reading carefully while watching the scenery is not my strong suit!

Was able to use all of the blue mystery wool and then bound off with the Countess Ablaze. I did the extra repeat as per the pattern, but didn’t do the border with double set of eyelets since I knew I would run out of the 50 g ball of blue. Definitely doable with a little more than half a variegated skein and 50 g ball of solid.
