Adapting this pattern to add Luther College viking. Luther viking is my own graph.

Pattern called for a plain ribbed cuff, I knitted a picot hem, added latvian braids and the written words.

I wish I had reversed one of the soccer players on the palms of the mittens, so that they were facing different directions. But after knitting four mittens to get this pair, I’m not going for a fifth!

I knitted one complete mitten and it was too small. This one was knitted on a 2.5mm needle.

I knitted this second mitten, went up one needle size, but it’s too long. I’ll start another and start the Viking pattern sooner after the thumb.
