03.09.11 - one of three Dale of Norway begun the same day. I’m making changes on this one - the yarn called for is a much finer gauge, and Bekky wants it to be warmer. I’m using Heilo. This will involve re-engineering the pattern a bit. Bekky also chose her own colorway - this is not one from the pattern.
10.20.11 - I’ve reknit portions of this several times. First the sweater was too big around the body. (guess I didn’t re-engineer so very well). At that time, we noticed that the darker green did not provide enough contrast to show the pattern to advantage. So I began again.
Next, I didn’t do a very good job of calculating the sleeves. At least, I only needed to do one sleeve over!
But now it is mostly complete. It needs the clasps sewn on, and some minor steaming/blocking. She likes it!
11.13.11 - Girl of the House modeling. The sweater will be going out to Denver to Bekky. She’s smaller than Girl of the House, I think it’ll be perfect.
12.13.11 - delivered to Bekky, but I didn’t get any pictures of her modeling. I’ll have to have her send me some!
1.29.12 - I really only rated this difficult because I was making gauge adjustments as I used Heilo rather than the pattern specified Daletta.
12.09.12 - Updated with photos of the actual recipient wearing her custom sweater.
