2017.01.07 - I’ve been using a 3mm needle on the body, but it looks like I need to move up to a 3.25mm.

2017.01.01 - I think I’ll use a red Rauma Finullgarn. I have a nice one in stash, but I’ll run in to my LYS (Northfield Yarn) and make sure there isn’t a better one. Luckily, as I cast on the body first, that’ll probably take me a few days to do the 4cm of 2x2 ribbing.

Messing about with an actual swatch (very unusual for me)

The grey is the color I am most concerned with. I don’t think there is quite enough contrast. Second picture is the black and white to determine contrast.

I have a second colorway on hold, I’ll probably use that.
