While I did finish the socks in time for stage one, I had the wrong time for reporting stuck in my head. But, so it goes. Very pretty socks, but hard to see the pattern in this particular yarn.

Tour de Sock stage one pattern

I went to THREE yarn shops to find a sport weight sock yarn that was not patterned. FAIL. Mountain Colors Bearfoot knits up a bit heavier than the usual sock, so I’m trying this one.

That’s what I get for signing up late for the Tour. It was too late to get the cool sport weight yarn from any of the sponsor vendors. Lesson learned…
