Upsized to fit my 10 year old and also made quite substantially longer than my earlier ones so it goes over the top of her jeans. As aways thanks to Moonstiches for her mods.

I size this pattern by measuring the collar on an earlier one - in this case mine measures 73 cms then I pick up the 100 stitches. This one had 12 rows before the sleeve split, after ten rows I kfb every 10 stitches. I did that again after another 10 rows. (sorry I wish I had kept count of my stitches)

It is 47cm long (not including the collar) and about 27cm across the chest at the armholes. I like to do the turn under hem because I think it gives it a bit of extra weight and “swing”.

Because it is the Alpaca Blend it is also much lighter and better for mid seasons.
