Lovely to make and to wear

Used some old wool, which I thought was black, but now know is blue! I’m not sure where it came from, but I do know it kept breaking!

Cast on 34, when I make them again with good wool I will cast on 40, they are a little tight!

Tried with the thumb, but thanks to caterpillergreen I found and used the 7 stitch buttonhole.

To prevent curling at the fingers, I knit 1 row through the back loops; then 1 row purl; then cast off knit-wise.
