Ch 1, hdc in first hdc, alternate hdc in blo/flo across, hdc in last ch, turn
Repeat for a total of 34 rows or until piece measures 14” ending with RS

Sc in first hdc, sc BLO across, sc in last hdc

Ch1, hdc in first sc, sk 1, dc in next, dc in previous across with hdc in last 2 Sc

Shoulder seams: sew from outside in 3” or 12 stitches on each side
Neck edging: FS facing, attach yarn at either seam and sc in BLO around neck.
Side seams and sleeve openings:
Measure 6” down from shoulder seams and pace stitch markers on front and back. These mark the arm he led.
RS facing, attach yarn at stitch marker and working toward bottom sc, ch 3 x14, sl in corner and all across bottom, sl in corner, ch 3, sc x14, repeat on other side making braided join instead of regular seams for the sides
Weave in all ends
Sleeves: same for each side
Attach yarn just above seaming braid stitch at armhole. HDC 23 evenly to shoulder seam, 1 HDC in shoulder seam, HDC 23 in remaining stitches, join with sl stitch (47 HDC) ch 1 and turn, HDC in first stitch
