Jane and I are swapping projects. I’m knitting her clapotis and she’s knitting my lace cable shawlette. smile

This yarn is classified as a DK, but the gauge and needle sizes on the label seem closer to a light worsted (which I guess qualifies as a DK). Jane gave me a size 6 needle, but I’ve gone up to a 7 for a better fabric with more drape and easier knitting. I hope she likes it.

There should be enough for a full size shawl, but am still recording weight data.
Yarn bra = 12 gms
Yarn = 240 gms
25% is 60 gms, so 75%is 180gms (192 with yarn bra)

Started straight rows today. Perfect division of yarn: 25% increase section completed. This yarn is simply luscious and is a dream to work with!!!

Finally got around to blocking this so I can give it to Jane on Tuesday.
Its beautiful and the yarn was a dream to work with, but I was disappointed in that it bled like crazy when I washed it. I even added white vinegar to the rinse watery and let it soak for awhile. The amount of bleeding decreased, but it was still pretty bad. It even strained the towels I used to soak up the moisture (hoping it will wash out).
