Used single instead of multiple colors. To cover too-large center hole that exposed white of pillow form, crocheted a padded center and sewed on. Accustomed to motif crochet with variety of stitches and colors, I found this monotonous to make, but satisfying to finish. A very clever adaptation of a vintage potholder pattern. I used an I hook with MIchael’s Loops & Threads yarn, but would recommend a smaller hook so that less of the pillow form would show through the stitching.
