This was a download from an etsy.com seller. I used mostly leftover stash of worsted weight yarn -- several brands. I’ve made lots and lots of flower motifs, and this one couldn’t have been easier to crochet, but it turned out prettier than many of the more complex ones. I think the black centers make the motif especially striking. The pattern called for a fairly simple scalloped edging, but I’d been wanting to try a flounced border, and would have made it much deeper, but it took an amazing amount of yarn just for two rounds. Probably would have needed a couple more skeins to make it the way I’d planned. To say nothing of how boring all those DCs would be.

The name of the pattern is Field of Flowers, and I changed it because a couple of others I’ve made have the same name.
