Brilliant design. I most appreciated the schematic and oh so clear instructions on where to begin for each section. I would recommend this design to any knitter!

I made a slight modification to the pattern by eliminating the intarsia and substituted the ‘diamond’ color to tie everything together.

Comment on top line: I am usually careful about not binding off too tight. In this case, the bind off needed to be tight to prevent a rippling effect. Although I bound off with tension, the edge is nice and springy, the tension is just right and the piece lies flat just as designed. No blocking was needed for this piece.
