• 1 brown as per pattern
• 1 white, top down beginning with Judy’s Magic Cast On omitting the “head” of rooster and working the “tail” twice with short rows to make the ears. (many thanks to Claudia Lowman whose Kitty Egg Warmer pattern allowed me to embroider kitty’s face)
• 1 grey with long ears to imitate a donkey. I used same stitch count but I knit it top-down beginning as a rounded toe sock
