This is a gift in remembrance of my good friend Nicki’s mum, Phillippa, who passed away on the 20th of January 2010. She loved rainbows, so I’m hoping this will make my friend smile every time she looks at it ♥ ♥ ♥

Mods: I chained 3, then joined, rather than using the magic ring suggested in the pattern. I also did a picot edging rather than the scalloped edging.

Currently blocking and then I’ll add the chain to connect and hang them.

24/01/2011: Finished, but can’t for the life of me get a better picture of the colours. The purple is a beautiful, rich, deep purple and the red is a lovely deep red.
