Sept 2014: I really need to finish this, but it’s so boring….

Prime numbers abound with 13 peaks and 7 colours in a linear sequence of striping.

Using odd balls from stash, and hoping that a 4.5 mm hook won’t result in a fabric that’s too loose—it did.

• Chain 151 196 with 4.5 mm 4.0 mm;
• The instruction states to make extra chains only to unpick them later. Seems rather silly to me. Pattern is a multiple of 15 sts with an extra 3 at the beginning, and 13 at the end, to balance the motif; so, a multiple of 15 plus 1 will work;
• Made the chain over a knitting needle to ensure a more even-looking start, and to make it easier to see the back bumps in the dark yarn. ⬅ Works a treat!

I don’t think the cream yarn has any business in the colour sequence of this project, but as it is a stashbasher to use up my MF 136, it will stay.
