modeled photos on me until it’s cool enough for husband to go outside while wearing it for better pictures. It has about 4-5 inches positive ease on my husband and roughly 2 inches negative ease on me.

the Oak panel is modified/reverse engineered from pictures of several different sweaters featuring one similar, and an Oak leaf motif (with no acorns) available at the knitting fool

06-09-4 : collar complete, underarms grafted, & all ends woven. DONE! sweater drying rack will arrive sometime Wednesday night, so Thursday will be blocking day!

06-08-14 : shirt yoke completed, ends woven in and collar begun.

06-05-14 : began the first saddle this evening.

06-01-14 : added another half inch of length to the sleeves, and joined sleeves to body.

05-31-14 : body complete and phony seams made this evening.

05-21-14 : after several attempts, body cast on and first few rows of ribbing done.

05-19-14 : Sleeves finished!

05-14-14 : CO sleeves, doing two at once.

05-08-14 : swatching
30 stitch swatch (22 stockinette 4 garter border stitches each side)
unwashed: 6.25x4.5 inches 9.5x13 stitches/2 inches
handwashed: 6x4.5 inches 10.5x13 stitches/2 inches
not much gauge change after machine washing/drying, but sample definitely looks more rumpled and uneven. sample softened up quite a bit though.
