8.13.11 - DONE!!! Currently, blocking. I followed the pattern and did 6 increases, 10 straight, and 6 decreases. Only used a small portion of the 4th skein. It’s a very fun pattern, especially the increase and decrease section. A pretty good basic lace pattern for new lace knitters. I truly loved this yarn for this project. Very nice drape.
8.12.11 - Started decreasing. (did three leaves tonight…only three more and another skein of yarn to go!)
8.11.11 - Bought and joined 3rd skein.
8.4.11 - Almost ready for the 3rd skein.
7.21.11 - Joined 2nd skein.
7.19.11 - Started straight section. 1 down, 9 to go. I’m using short straight needles, and it feels tight on the needles. I think for my next Saroyan I may go back to the circs.
7.16.11 - Five increases sections in, one more leaf and then on to the straight section.
7.12.11 - Started increase section. K1fb confuses me, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. I also think I did the SSKs wrong in the first leaf increase. I love how easy the pattern is to follow though…works it stitch by stitch almost
7.7.11 - CO and Knit 1st four rows to set up for Tuesdays class. First time working with stitch markers…and I haven’t used bamboo needles in awhile.
