I am making an afghan (en pläd!) from all the leftover sock yarns from last years Sock Madness and Tour-de-Sock. Before I started, I had to brush off that old cosine and sine, and even the arccos from trigonometry to make it all work out. Now, a bit along, I am weaving-in-ends and weaving-in-ends, but it is sort of a calming pastime…

February 6: I will get pictures when it looks like something real; right now it is all jammed on a circular needle.

February 11: I am having so much fun with this project. It takes some time, but I love choosing the yarn or combination of yarns for my next domino again and again.

February 27: Only two more dominoes to go before the finishing black/white framing. I expect that after finishing this one, I will immediately cast on another one. It would be perfect to always have one of these cooking, and keep adding one or two dominoes after every pair of finished socks!
Preparing some graphics now for the pattern, then it will be up for test knitting! I will keep you posted!
