Notes

What a clever stitch: It looks so smart and is so easy to knit! The pattern isn’t hard to follow either.
I made the cardigan two sections longer and added long sleeves. They are completely straight, I only changed to smaller needles below the elbows.
The yarn is lovely, but a little too heavy for this design. Or I stretched it too much when I washed the cardigan. At least, is has grown somewhat longer than I intended, and I had to shorten the sleeves again. Thankfully this was easy because they are knitted top-down.
I also used the stitch on a bottom-up pullover.
- Addendum 2013: Meanwhile Carol Sunday has also published a pattern for a long-sleeved version of the wrap - which is very similar to my project.
