The only simple thing about the yarn “Simply” is that it’s single-ply. It’s 50 % merino wool, 50 % silk, and the colorway “white tea” looks like a mix of shimmering jewels in all colors of the rainbow. It knits up very evenly, too.
The biggest flaw: It’s not enough for the Touch of Vanity cardigan. And this is why I am ripping it up today.
Also: The design is very long in the back and short in front. It looks good in Birgit Freyer’s photo, but not in this yarn. :-(
The good thing is: I got to knit this beautiful yparn once more. It has become my Bolero Jewel plus a simple cowl.
