A wonderful pattern, and not only for scarves and shawls! Five repeats are enough for a sweater. The wool said it wanted to be a cardigan, so this is what I made - though it was rather tricky to make increases and decreases without disturbing the pattern. For the two front parts, I started with three repeats each, and then made a seam of half a repeat sewed to the inside. At first, I wasn’t too happy with the hook-and-eye fastenings, but now I think they look quite good. And they are practical, too. The neck bind-offs were a little too loose, so I added a ribbed i-cord bind-off.
