The “hat” is way too tight on me to look good, and the placement of the earflaps doesn’t seem quite right. The hat fits my daughter, though, so she’ll have to have it instead.

The wristies are pretty good, if a little baggy. I had to tighten them up considerably in the last round. I still have one to finish and all the ends to darn in.

Jan 2017:

I finished this off at long last for Daisy, by working rounds of decreases to make the top of the hat. I finished off with a pom pom to match. Only took an hour or so to do the whole lot (including weaving ends away!), and I’m not sure why it’s taken me so many years to sort this out.

Not sure what happened to the wristies. Perhaps I threw them away. No loss there, though.
