I made this as a birthday gift for a friend. This summer, she’s moving back to Fresno, so I’m hoping that this scarf will be well-suited to a warmer climate than NY. I like the combo of the yarn with this pattern--the yarn has a nice weight and drape that work well with the lace pattern but it also blocks out nicely.

This yarn is heavier than the yarn called for in the pattern, so I CO 44 sts instead of 53. I wanted the ends of the scarf to match so after I bound off, I decide to undo the cast-on edge, pick up the stitches, and knit two rows even before binding off. If I made this pattern again (I’m tempted to make another one in this yarn for myself!), I would knit two rows even after CO before starting the lace pattern.
