This is part of a 9-piece collection I was commissioned to design for Fairmount Fibers, distributors of Manos del Uruguay yarn in the U.S.

Cardigan is worked side-to-side. Then some stitches are “unzipped” for the sleeves. Sleeve stitches are picked up and the sleeve caps are shaped using short rows. There’s no seaming or finishing (other than weaving in ends) on this garment.

I honestly really love this piece (well, I love everything I did for the collection) and would love to knit one up in my size for me to wear! Unfortunately, this was a sample piece and I had to send it away to it’s adoptive home.
