Notes

I just LOVE this pattern! Perfect yarn for a heavier blanket. Cast on 103 using crochet hook cast on. No increases before starting cable. Four bunnies across. See Bunny Blanket #5 for stitches, At row 53, used RC and LC on top of bunny ear, knit into second stitch on left needle, then firstbstith, then slip both off needle. For LC knit into back loop of second stitch, then front of loop of first stitch on left needle, then slip both off.
Just finished Blanket #8 and tried adding a stitch at the start of knitting the bunny in order to keep a neat knit ridge next to the two purls. Then reduced back to match the garter rib after the bunny was finished. If I don’t do that, I have 3 purls at the start of a bunny as in #7. But I don’t think it’s worth adding a stitch unless that third purl really bothers you.

Markers at 11 - 12 - 11 -12 -11 stitches.

Size 11 needle made a nice draped blanket, but I wanted a little tighter so used size 10.5.
MODIFIED BOBBLE: follow original instruction, k yo k yo k. Turn work p5, turn work k5, turn work p2tog, p1, p2 tog (3 St left on needle)Turn work slip 1st stitch, k tog, pass slip stitch over the two you just knit together. Voila, you’re back to one stitch! I am also knitting the stitch just before and after the bobble through the back loop to tighten it up.
4/2/17 On blanket #8 (photo #5) I added a stitch at the bottom of each bunny to keep a knit ridge on each side . If you compare to photo #4, you can see the difference as each side of the bunny is the same. However, I had to reduce back after the bunny ears and I don’t like the way it looks at the top of the ear. After blocking I’ll check again so next time I know what to do.
