Just a basic, sqaure-ish, baby blanket for a friend’s baby. Lovely variegated acrylic -- I’m not usually a fan of acrylics, but sometimes, especially for baby things, they’re the answer. (I have a baby blanket my aunt made me, and 27 years on, it’s only got one small hole where it got caught in a hide-a-bed hinge and otherwise it still looks new!)

This yarn is machine-washable and very soft. It’s plied with two colours: one soft grey, and one variegated blue-white-grey-aqua. The effect is a very nice tweedy variegated, with very long bands of colour.
