Just to change things up a little, I played with the ribbing a bit -- working 1x1, then 3x1, then 7x1 ribbing to make an interesting texture. I decided I liked the result better on the reverse stockinette side, and then figured that I’d better add a pompom to signal that, yes, the hat really is supposed to be turned this way out.

It’s a child’s size, but actually still fits my head and mostly covers my ears, albeit a little more tightly than I’d like. It should, therefore, suit just about any child/teen/small adult!
