Notes

To fit my MIL’s tablet, which is a Samsung and not a standard size. This yarn is lovely and dense and round, like spaghetti, so it makes a really nice cushion, especially with the cabling.

I worked it on slightly smaller needles, and added extra stitches at the edge, to make a denser fabric and to make it fit the specific measurements.

I decided to use a clasp rather than a button; we can sew the other half of the clasp in place once the actual tablet is in the sleeve, so that it fits with the right amount of tension to stay closed but not pull too much. (It’s not a magnetic clasp, just a sort of button-y piece that slides into the ring of the other piece. Magnets near tablets didn’t sound wise.)
