Using Corriedale fibre that I dyed with Lindsey of Waterloo Wools. (Can’t seem to add non-spun fibre to the project…)

Note: I knit the pattern exactly as written, except for the following mod to the cuff. I knit the thrumming rounds through twice, instead of three times, and then did a couple of rounds of 1x1 ribbing before binding off. (The thrums will keep the slippers on snugly, so the ribbing’s not for that purpose -- just to keep the thrums contained, and keep what would otherwise be stockinette from rolling outwards. The ribbing doesn’t really pull in, but it keeps things from pushing outwards, which was the goal.)

I knit the size 8 slippers. They are just a smidge too short for my size 9 feet, but stretchy. They will be a great fit on my mom’s size 7 feet, with or without socks.

• Approx. 85 grams of yarn
