This pattern is, like all of Kitman’s, extremely well-written, and very thorough.

This yarn is tonal, and the variegation didn’t seem very high in the skein -- but even so, the fine cables almost disappear, especially from a distance. If I knit this again, I’ll use yarn that’s a true solid colour, much as I loved hand-dyed yarns.
