Notes

I’ve made the scarf version of this, as I was only able to get 1 cone of the Euroflax laceweight (colour: lichen). The pattern actually calls for heavier yarn, but it looks really pretty with this laceweight linen. I also added some green beads with a gold core to the cast-on and cast-off edges.

I’ve actually finished the knitting (just need to sew in ends) but can’t post any more recent photos for fear that my mother would see them before I can give her the scarf!

NOTE 1: The pattern is very clear, and I did not find any errors, but it does not come with a chart. I charted it for myself, which made the knitting MUCH easier. I’d give this a 5-star rating if the chart had been included.

NOTE 2: The scarf only used about half of the yarn on the cone -- I could have made a smallish stole with it, but I’m happy with the scarf, and now I can play around with making something else out of the rest! Perhaps a little bag?
