Making up a hat for Dad, to go with the vest. He’s bald and likes to keep the house cool, so he wears a hat indoors much of the time! He likes something very fitted, and indoors, keeps the brim folded up so it doesn’t interfere with his hearing aids. This seems like a pattern that will lend itself to that well.

I’m spot-on for stitch gauge but my row gauge is different than the pattern calls for. I worked out that the decreases will take about 4.5 cm so I needed to work the main part of the hat a little deeper than called for in order to have it fit. On the decreases now and the fit on Mr. Bee is promising!
