Notes

The first time I cast on, I used the specified number of stitches, and used the long-tail cast on. It was tight! When I found an error in my work I decided to frog and start again, with 90 sts and the twisted German cast-on. Much happier going now!

The Waterloo Wools is the MC (and establishes the gauge more) while the lighter Posh has room to bloom a little. The colours are so lovely together, I had to find a project where they could sing in harmony.

The cowl would have been fine over the suggested number of stitches (but is lovely and cozy as is). The cast-on is still the firmest part of the whole thing, but it’s fine and won’t be an issue to pull over the head, etc. The two weights of yarn worked out absolutely fine together, and the difference is even less post-blocking!
