How is this only, like, the third thing I’ve EVER knit with my handspun?

Amazingly, this only took about half of the tiny (113 gr) sampler braid of fibre. It’s spun as a singles, similar in weight to Malabrigo Lace (but a little more variable, as I’m still a novice spinner). I can’t believe how much is left over!

The South African Fine fibre is really lovely to spin and to knit -- and hopefully to wear. I am really pleased with how the colours, which were very subtle in the fibre, came out so clearly in the cowl. It’s purple (perfect for the recipient) but not JUST purple.
