There was 38.4 gr of yarn remaining – meaning I used 57.5 gr in the hat.

The pattern was great! There are a few tweaks coming to the final version, but even in the draft version it was an easy, pleasant knit. The underlying structure of the stitch pattern is ribbing, so the hat is very stretchy and even this (which was written as the small size) easily fits my gigantic head, though it would not be too big on most adults.
