Making up

Over lap cast on edge over cast off edge by 12 rows and Pin at row end, fit ends in place and secure using back stitch. Back stitch gives a better finish on the right side. Turn right side out and sew buttons in place under the overlap. Make a chain stitch loop twice the width of the button. Sew under the overlap to make button loop. Or use press fasteners.
