This is my first sweater. I made it about 4 months into serious knitting, so don’t be afraid to try new and large projects! I loved it but it wasn’t really right for my shape, so mom got a Christmas present in September! ;o)

I increased the final length on the final project by 6” more than the pattern says as that is her preference for sweater lengths.

This sweater & yarn are incredibly soft and wonderful to touch and to wear. The nobby stitch added to the interest in look and feel of the finished product, I would like to use this stitch again in the future. It is easy to master and knit even without looking once you get the hang of it. They are made by decreasing 2 then increasing 2. Very easy stitch! I was never bored in knitting it.

In hindsight (knowing what I know now about this yarn’s lack of elasticity), I would have not done ribbing at the bottom, but rather slits on each side like a tunic.
