It’s finally done!

The cardigan is beautiful. I find the button band a little too loose. But over all I’m very happy I did it!

The instructions for the button band are not very clear. I had to do it 3 times to get it right. With the lager needles the garter stitch is too loose. I did it again with 2.25 picking up the amount of stitches recommended. Again very loose. Started again picking up less stitches and putting more tension to knit it. It finally worked.

I never realized how long this was going to be to knit. I fell in love with the pattern and I’m sucker for Koigu so it was the perfect project for a Cardigan for my Mom.

The body and one of the sleeves are ready. I’m working on the second sleeve.

I realized that knitting a cardigan in 2.5 mm needles for a full-grown woman is insane. I’m going to do a Cardi dad and that’s going to on a 5mm.

The pattern is pretty simple and straight forward. Sometimes I fell that more details are necessary, but no mistakes so far. The yarn is beautiful and a delight to knit with.

Finally finished the body of the cardigan. It’s looking GORGEOUS. Very beautiful. The long part is over. It’s going to be over very soon
