Almost a year a former girl a friend gave birth to a baby girl, I knitted a béguin for her as a gift but we lost contact and I never had the chance to give it to her.

My parents asked me to make a gift for the grandson of a real good friends of them. I’ve had my eye on those blankets form Purl Soho for a while and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to make them. Since it has been forever that I haven’t crocheted anything I decided to make a sample blanket to practice. I bought this beautiful mint striped flannel that matched perfectly a Koigu that were waiting to be used. When I finished I realized that the blanket and the béguin were a match made in heaven. I felt inspired and decided to make a Poucelina that would go with it and some socks with a leftover Casbah.
