Testing thread

Gauge, US5’s
Pre-Blocking: 26 sts x 35 rows = 4”
Post-Blocking: 24 sts x 36 rows = 4”

Final fit: 1.5” positive ease at bust.

This is a knit at work (call center) or while flying (residency interviews) project.

Twisted German cast on.

JSSBO for pockets and sleeve cuffs.

I think if I were to make another, I would use the smaller needles for the pocket ribbing for neatness.

Lengthened sleeves by 2” (after all decreases, but I think before would have been better) for 20” total length (18” before ribbing).

7 large(ish) buttons -- using a 5 stitch tulips buttonhole… I probably could have used a 4-stitch buttonhole just fine.

Lace bind off for button band.

For all lengths I went with row counts rather than measurements using washed/blocked gauge, as the wool really relaxed with a nice soak.

1 full ball + 13 g of partially used ball left over when everything was done.
(Yardage includes gauge swatch + yarn used to sew on buttons)
