Notes

Using US 4 needles for entire project.

I could probably have gone down to US 3, my stranded colorwork always ends up at a much looser gauge than what I normally knit at. (My fault -- I didn’t swatch!)

Hemmed picot folds during knitting, instead of seaming afterwards. Not recommended, as this causes the ends to curl outward! Though that may be because I picked up the wrong row to hem; I think I need one row further towards the inside of the cowl.

This is a great pattern! I’m thinking of making another one, I liked knitting this so much.

(Note to self: just follow the pattern for seaming. Trying to do it as you knit makes all the edges roll too much. See this Techknitter article for hemming tips.)
