I purchased this skein with a gift card that a sweet friend gave me for my birthday. I’ve been chomping at the bit to knit another pattern from Cookie’s newest book, and this pattern fit the bill!

6/28: Started sock #1. The traveling round threw me for a good loop. The way I’m keeping it straight is to remember to keep the pattern of the ribbing as it travels down the sock.

7/13: Finished sock #1. I flew through the pattern once I got past the traveling rounds. Even those got easier, though, the further I progressed. Ultimately, I think this is one of Cookie’s easier patterns.

Cuff: One pattern repeat. Completed first travel round on round #12.

Flap: 17 rows

Foot: Picked up 11 total stitches on both sides of the flap. Total of 80 rounds before the toe.

Toe: Decreased until 8 stitches were left on each needle (20 total rounds).

7/14: FINISHED! I can’t believe that I knit an entire sock in 24 hours! The second sock FLEW off of my needles!!

The fit is perfect! I could not be happier!

The yarn was delightful to knit with, and once I understood how to work in new ribbing stitches, I was set to go. GREAT pattern!!
