Color in the top photo is most accurate. Darn incandescent bulbs turn everything yellow and murky.

Finished the knitting on 12/12. Currently soaking before blocking.

MODS: Knitted three inches of ribbing before starting the body of the hat. Since this is a gift for a man, I knitted one extra repeat of the cable before beginning the decreases.

The Longwood yarn is incredibly soft against the skin. It’s perfect for hats, especially for people who might have sensitive skin: it’s not even remotely itchy.
