As done by dona-knits, 3 skeins for bubble effect.

This yarn is amazing, it feels wonderful and knits easily, which is good because I probably cast on a bit too tightly. I always seem to do that.

Had to frog and start over. First time knitting flat on circulars, I overthought it and started one of my skeins on the wrong side. Didn’t figure it out until I realized I was working WS 2 times in a row and the RS didn’t look quite right. Thankfully I was only on row 6. Finished row 3 last night, now that I have the pattern down I’ve speeded up quite a bit. I’d love to have this finished in 2 weeks or less. Got too many things to do before Christmas!

Not going as quickly as I’d hoped. The knit rows fly by but I’m so slow at purling. I continue to be unable to grasp either Continental or English styles. Oh well, I’m still loving how this is turning out.

So far I’m 25 hours in and 39 rows complete. I estimate it’ll be finished at about 80 rows. If I keep to my current pace I might actually make my 2 week deadline! (not counting the bad start)
I increased the pattern’s difficulty rating to medium because of the denseness of the fabric and the frustration of constantly juggling 3 skeins. I also bumped the yarn down to 4 stars because it’s fuzzing more than I thought it would and splits too easily. I’m constantly stopping to drag one tiny fiber off the needle and put it back with the thread.

One morning I just magically mastered flicking like I’d been doing it all along. Crazy how that goes. I cut my time per row in half so I feel like progress is better but my available knitting time was reduced this week. Lots of compliments on how it’s turning out but I’m so ready to be done!
~38 hours, 64 rows.

48 hours approx to knit. Did not count weaving ends or blocking time. About half way through I figured out the secret to faster knitting so my time isn’t representative for an experienced knitter.
